Bachtober

Bachtober (2025, 2026) is a mini experimental music festival built around the music of JS Bach. Edition 1 took place in October at an underground bar space in Vienna Austria, with the second edition coming up on October 10th, at the Spektakel venue, again in Vienna. This project features a wildly diverse lineup of professional musicians playing versions of JS Bach. From ultra-slowed-down cello to a handbell choir to amplified vibraphone and beyond, this is the festival Oktoberfest wishes it could be. Stay tuned for a wildly ambitious third edition, coming in October of 2027.
